Overview
Each Townet SmartBox device is equipped with an internal control board for local control and sending data to the cloud. The data is recorded on a temporal database and kept for one year.
Each device can be linked to your account with these possibilities:
- Management of historical data for each value monitored
- Sending alerts in case of malfunctions
- Management of API access tokens
- Management of access tokens to the Telegram BOT
No specific knowledge is required to enable cloud data management, in fact, our devices are equipped with an integrated SIM card for automatic data transmission. No configuration is required, just enter the code displayed on the SmartBox into the portal.

Errors and Bugs
Like any computer system, DataManager can be subject to bugs and operating errors. If you detect a malfunction, we ask you to send this information to our support centre by email support@townet.it.
Limited responsability
The historical data recording service is provided without any guarantee of continuity over time. Townet will never be responsible for the loss of data, missing information or any kind of damage.
Privacy
The system does not contain sensitive data but only * personal *, all information is in any case treated with the utmost respect and not disclosed, except in aggregate form and not attributable to the individual account.
The data controller is Townet srl. Each user (account) can at any time request the cancellation of all registered data or obtain a copy.
The system keeps the following information: Username Encrypted password Company name Email Phone
Access to such data is strictly reserved to the account holder only and to the technicians authorized by Townet srl
The data provided is used only for specific purposes for the functioning of the system and will not be provided to third parties for advertising or profiling purposes.
